SARC sent a team of three all the way to Albury for the 2022 HRCAV TTT Horse Trials – Kym Hobby, Megan O’Rourke and Nola Poulter (each with two horses) and after a five hour drive they set up camp. Two composite teams of four were formed each with a rider from another club.
Kym Hobby reported:
“Wow TTT HT what a weekend and what a team!! Want to say a huge thank you to the wonderful SAR club in supporting Nola Tee, Megan O’Rourke and myself in making the trek up to Albury – it’s what made the weekend possible and we hope we have done the club colours proud, with the 3 of us competing 6 horses all placing in the top half in what turned out to be a very tough competition – Megan with a 3rd and 4th , Nola with a 2nd and 7th and myself 4th and 5th and the best performed OTT level 3. Our team finished 6th overall – a brilliant effort; the support of these lovely ladies was just sensational. A shout out needs to go to Michelle Janssen for coming along for the weekend to support us all and also being photographer and head chef.
